The City of Ottawa’s Elections Office is hiring staff to fill a variety of election worker positions for the 2026 Municipal Elections on:
Special Advance Voting Days from Thursday, October 1 to Sunday, October 4 (Positions available for City of Ottawa staff only)
Advance Voting Day on Friday, October 16
Voting Day on Monday, October 26
If you learn quickly, possess good interpersonal skills, and would like to learn more about the electoral process at the municipal level, please use the following tool to apply. Proficiency in both official languages is an asset and will be considered for all positions.
Please note that a limited number of voting place positions are available. Only selected applicants will be contacted by the City of Ottawa’s Elections Office to fill these positions.
